This service, which operates through a network that connects all cities and villages in Libya, allows customers to communicate both within Libya and abroad without interruption and through an integrated set of services, allowing the subscriber to
  • Setting up a facsimile (Fax).
  • Obtaining Dial-up and ADSL service in order to connect to the global information network (the Internet).

How to acquire the service

Those interested in the service should apply to the nearest telecommunications services office.
    • ID photo
    • Copies of the identification card or passport.
    • A copy of your proof of residence (if you are not a resident).
    • A copy of the property’s title deed (usufruct) in which the service is to be installed.
    • The fee for obtaining the service is (50.500 dinars), and the balance is determined by the subscriber’s preferences.
    • The technician visits the property to conduct a technical inspection to determine the feasibility of installing the service and then refers it to the office specialists to complete the remaining procedures.
    • A copy of the certificate of residence.
    • A copy of a valid commercial register or a commercial license.
    • Form of service request signed by the authorized person.
    • The fee for obtaining the service is (300,500 dinars), which includes a balance of (200 dinars).

Method of payment for the service

The subscriber can pay for the service using prepaid cards, which are available at all telecommunications service offices and distribution centers, or by using the electronic charging service, noting that the monthly subscription rate is as follows: Houses (5 dinars) – otherwise (15 dinars).

Procedures for transferring or terminating service

The subscriber can move the phone line to another location by completing the service transfer request form, signing it, and delivering it to the appropriate employee. After the subscriber has paid the outstanding balance, the service will be terminated.

Benefits of Using a Phone

The prepaid system provides the international direct dialing (IDD) feature for landline telephone lines, as well as several other benefits (additional services) granted to the subscriber at nominal prices, some of which are granted for free after a special form with the subscriber’s data is filled out.

The benefit of (changing the subscriber’s name) is also limited to those who submit documents proving the legal modification or change of the name through a court ruling, and nothing else is taken into account.
